So I purchased two books yesterday and have been reading like a madman as my computer is out of commission and I do not play video games I have had some time on my hands.

The first is a book by Rob Bell called Jesus wants to Save Christians. It's a book focused on the church in exile. I haven't read much past the first chapter, but I can already tell that he has some interesting insights on scripture and a somewhat off beat theological perspective very reminiscent of emergent church theology, which makes sense given the church he pastors at.

The second is The Bolivian Diaries by Ernesto Guevera. Yes, Che. I am reading the diary of Che Guevera during his campaign in Bolivia that eventually took his life. He is a compelling character and I hope that this book is revealing of his motivating ideology and hopefully the practice of it. Although I should probably read his political works instead of this for a better understanding of that.

Anyway, off to keep reading.
